Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the tiny screen. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas in order to pursue the career of a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas before moving in Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles that included local independent films as well as world-wide commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love to perform despite the minor roles. Then she moved to New York and in 2001 she scored her first part on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she had small roles in JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in the year 2004, on the underrated dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza had the privilege of working alongside some outstanding TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. Her most memorable role was in 2006's Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Her next role was on the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated numerous times for her role in the show, including Best Supporting Actress in Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in the drama show. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko as the wife of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. After two short episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is of Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Her family was a very conservative and spiritual one. Milano began her acting career when she was seven years old. The babysitter took her along to her first audition. Four girls were chosen from more than a thousand applicants. Milano has appeared in ads on television and off-Broadway as well, such as the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
